G-VROY final departure from Manchester Airport

Today was the final departure of the Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 G-VROY from Manchester Airport. It’s journey was to go on to storage at Ciudad Real airport in Spain. These are a selection of my photos from the day.

As she climbs into the Manchester sky for the last time G-VROY is cleared to contact Scottish Control, let’s hope one day the double deck aircraft return to Manchester.
